A customer came to me with a photo of an old emblem from a vintage boat that was no longer available — no model file, no measurements, just a picture. They wanted to recreate it as close to the original as possible.

Using CAD software, I reverse-engineered the emblem from the photo, carefully matching proportions and curves. Once the design was complete, I 3D printed a prototype to check the fit and detail before producing the final version.

This kind of project is always rewarding — blending old-school charm with modern tools to bring a forgotten detail back to life.

Have a vintage part or emblem you’d love to replicate? Whether it’s for a car, boat, or something else, I’d be happy to help.
